Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
Evenly spread the pretzel twists on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake the pretzels in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes. Remove the sheet from the oven and set aside to cool.
In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel candies with the heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until melted and smooth.
Carefully pour the hot, melted caramel over the cooled pretzels, spreading it evenly.
In the same bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips using the same 30-second interval method until completely melted.
Drizzle the melted chocolate atop the caramel layer on the pretzels, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle the sea salt evenly over the chocolate, followed by optional toppings like chopped pecans or mini chocolate chips.
Allow the bark to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate for about 15 minutes to speed up the process.
Once set, gently break the bark into pieces and enjoy!
Notes
For an appealing display, serve the bark pieces on a decorative platter, or package them in clear bags tied with ribbon for gifting.
