Instructions
Start by preparing your food processor. In its bowl, add the drained chickpeas, the roasted red pepper, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and a generous pinch of salt.
Blend the mixture on high speed until it transforms into a smooth and creamy consistency. If the hummus is too thick for your liking, gradually add water, one tablespoon at a time, blending well after each addition until you reach your desired texture.
Taste the hummus and make adjustments as needed; incorporate additional salt, lemon juice, or cumin to enhance the flavor according to personal preference.
Once your hummus is perfectly blended and creamy, scoop it out and transfer it to a clean serving bowl.
For an elegant touch, drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top of the hummus. Then, gently sprinkle paprika to add a vibrant color and hint of smokiness.
Finish by garnishing with freshly chopped parsley, which will provide a fresh burst of flavor and visually enhance your dish.
Notes
Enjoy with pita bread, veggie sticks, or as a sandwich spread.
