1largeorange, zested and juiced (reserve some zest for garnish)
2wholecinnamon sticks
1/4cuphoney (adjust according to your sweetness preference)
4cupscold water
as neededice cubes
as neededorange slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions
In a heatproof pitcher, carefully pour the boiling water over the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, adjusting the steeping time based on how robust you prefer the tea.
Once steeped, remove the tea bags. While the tea is warm, incorporate the freshly squeezed orange juice, the zest of the orange, the two cinnamon sticks, and honey. Stir the mixture gently until the honey has fully dissolved, enriching the tea with sweetness and flavor.
Allow the concoction to cool down to room temperature. Once cooled, mix in the 4 cups of cold water to dilute and refresh the flavors, creating a perfectly balanced iced tea.
Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours. This will chill the iced tea and give the ingredients time to infuse.
To serve, fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled iced tea over the ice. Enhance each glass with a decorative orange slice and a cinnamon stick, adding a touch of elegance to your beverage.
Notes
For a vibrant presentation, consider using clear glasses to showcase the beautiful color of the tea, and sprinkle a few reserved zest pieces on top for an aromatic garnish.
