Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until it achieves a smooth and creamy consistency.
Gradually incorporate the sifted powdered sugar, continuing to mix until well combined and fluffy.
Pour in the vanilla extract and sour cream, blending until the mixture is uniform and silky in texture.
Add 1/2 cup of the caramel sauce to the cream cheese mixture, stirring gently to combine while reserving the remainder for drizzling later.
Carefully fold in the finely diced apple and ground cinnamon until they are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
If desired, include the chopped walnuts or pecans by folding them into the mixture.
